Anna May Gould, the daughter of Alonzo "Lonnie" and Doris (Mertz) Roof was born December 11, 1942 at Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 24 days.

Anna was raised in Southwest Iowa and spent a few years in the state of Washington after being married to Richard Gould II. She then moved back to the Red Oak area where she lived most of her life.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents: infant son, Daniel; 2 sons: Mark Gould and Richard Gould III; granddaughter, Kaysha Gould; brothers and sisters: Frank Roof, Marion Roof, Eugene Roof, Donald Roof, Robert Roof, Willie Roof, Charlotte Brake, Betty Brackhahn, Donna Rodriguez, Harold Leeper, Billy Leeper and Joyce Smith.

Anna is survived by three children: Jules Gould of Mt Pleasant, IA, Roxann (Ron) Schooling of Red Oak, IA and Hope Ross of Worthington, IA; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Roof; nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

Graveside Memorial Service will be held on

Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, Iowa.

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service.
