Schmitz-Cantrell is survived by his mother and father: Shelby Schmitz and Mike Cantrell of Red Oak, IA; grandparents: Jack Schmitz and Tammy Schmitz of Red Oak, IA and Donna Graham of Red Oak, IA; great-grandmother: Lola Ehen and husband Charlie of Atlantic, IA; many aunts and uncles.
