Barbara Nadine Stille, the daughter of Sander and Mildred (Slater) Ross, was born January 26, 1936, in Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on January 26, 2026, her 90th birthday, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Barbara lived in Grant, Wales, and Henderson, Iowa, while growing up, and graduated from Henderson High School in l954. Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Bobby Stille on December 11, 1955, in Henderson. They spent their life together farming in Mills County. Barbara was a dedicated farm wife. She loved to cook, sew, mow the yard, and do all things a farm wife would do to help her husband. She was an excellent cook and always whipped up something for neighbors, friends, family and the church when needed. She loved her family, hosting family dinners, and you never left her house without taking leftovers or baked goods to enjoy later. Bobby and Barbara were part of "the square dance bunch" and had loads of fun gathering for square dances. They also played cards with family and friends thru the years. Barbara was a member of the Emerson, Henderson and Malvern United Methodist churches, garden club, and neighborhood club. Over the years, she also served as a Sunday school teacher, 4-H leader and room mother.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Stille on October 23, 2021; brothers, Jack and Clark Ross; brother-in-law, Gary Stephens; and sister-in-law and husband, Jeannie and Leroy Bower.

Barbara is survived by her three children: Michael (Jody) Stille of Pawnee City, NE, Kathy (Martin) Hall of Lincoln, NE and Kelly Leu (Mike Waters) of Clarion, IA; five grandchildren: Melissa Riggert, Trevor Stille, Tyler Stille, Betsy Hall and Jordan Lines; eight great-grandchildren: Ryley Riggert, Dylan Riggert, Karsyn Riggert, Alayna Riggert, Sophie Stille, Reagan Funke, Axel Lines, and Berkely Lines; sister, Ladonna Stephens of Henderson, IA; and brother, Norman Ross of Red Oak, IA; nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Burial in the East Liberty Cemetery, rural Malvern, IA.
