Betty Victor age 91, passed away on April 24, 2010 in Florida. A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church, Red Oak, Iowa on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Betty was born on January 19, 1919 in Columbia, Missouri to Lynn and Susan Platt Hungate. Betty and her husband, Bill moved to Red Oak in l946. Betty was a very giving person, donating her time and talents to many good causes. She was instrumental in starting 'Meals on Wheels' and volunteered at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital and First Christian Church. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Victor on April 16, 2000. Betty then moved to Bradenton, Florida to be close to her daughter, Susan. Betty is survived by her daughter, Susan Dick Perry of Bradenton, Florida; and sons: Marshall Victor of Homosassa, Florida; and Steven Peggy Victor of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Christian Church in Red Oak, Iowa. Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home assisting the family with arrangements.
