Blanche Marie Hinson, the daughter of Benjamin A. and Jessie E. (Gilmore) Resh was born July 25, 1920 in Montgomery County, Iowa. She passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Red Oak Healthcare Community, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 97 years, 5 months and 5 days.
Blanche was raised in Montgomery County attending Ratcliff and Pittsburgh country schools. During WW II she worked at the Martin bomber plant near Omaha, Nebraska. Blanche moved to Florida in the late 1940's and was united in marriage to James "Jake" Hinson. They lived many years in the Clearwater area and she worked for fruit packing houses. After the death of her husband in 1987, she returned to Red Oak in 1998. Blanche enjoyed crocheting and hand work.
Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Robert E. Resh and two sisters: Gladys Sprigg and Mable Woodin.
Blanche is survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

No Services will be held locally, and a private burial will be in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park at Clearwater, Florida.
