Clarence Grew Duckett, Sr., was born January 27, 1947 at Sweetwater, Tennessee and raised by Frank O. and Hazel (Duckett) Morris. He passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 9 days.

Clarence was raised in Tennessee, later moved to Hawaii and then to Red Oak, Iowa. He worked for Star Agri and then became an over-the-road truck driver, driving until his retirement. Clarence was united in marriage to Barbara K. Kinnersly on January 31, 1971 at Red Oak, Iowa. He loved to work on cars and enjoyed all the times his children worked side by side with him.

Clarence was preceded in death by his birth parents, James C. and Scena Mae Duckett Sr.; adopted parents who raised him, Frank and Hazel Morris; and his wife, Barbara Duckett on August 25, 2007.

Clarence is survived by his three children: Clarence Duckett Jr. of Columbus, Illinois, Tammy Church of Charlotte, North Carolina and Sally Peterson Bullington of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: brothers: William " Bill" (Linda) Morris of Red Oak, Iowa and James "JC" Duckett Jr of Russellville, Arkansas; sisters: Louise Roberts and Elaine Moxness both of Boiling Spring Lake, North Carolina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
