Clarence Dean Platt, the son of Ray and Margaret (Longinaker) Platt was born September 9, 1949 at Red Oak, Iowa. He passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 17 days.
Dean lived his entire life in Red Oak. He attended Red Oak High School and graduated with the class of 1970. Dean was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Red Oak. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dean is survived by his two sisters: Sharon Malousek and husband LeRoy of Lincoln, NE and Jolene Johnson and husband Allan of Stanton, IA; and two brothers: Merlin Platt and Mickey Platt both of Red Oak, IA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
