Dale Ellsworth Burns, the son of Joe and Martha (Young) Burns, was born on September 1, 1959, in Jefferson, Iowa. He passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at CHI Immanuel Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 66 years and 24 days.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pamela McKinley.

Dale is survived by two sisters, Patty Long of Elliott, Iowa and Paula Forward of Red Oak, Iowa; brother, Frank (Aubrey) Burns of Red Oak, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Williams Recreation Parlor 310 E Coolbaugh St. Red Oak, Iowa
