Dale Edward Kesselring, one of four children of Carl George John Hammer Kesselring and Wilma Marie Magers Kesselring, was born in Treynor, Iowa on August 20, 1940. He passed away on January 26, 2008 after an extended illness at North Arundel Hospital in Glenburnie, Maryland at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 6 days. Dale donated his body to Howard University in Washington, D.C. for medical research. Following graduation from Treynor High School, Dale farmed with his father and brother. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Netzel and to this union were born three children: Regina, Robbie and Randy. Dale was later married to Janice Anderson and to this union two children were born: Cherie and Dale Jr. Janice passed away on June 2, 1990. Throughout Dale's life, he had worked as a car salesman, pipefitter and night watchman. He had lived several years in Maryland. Dale loved old cars; he and his son "Ed" enjoyed attending car shows in Maryland. He loved to go fishing and in Maryland, he and his family would go crab fishing. Dale enjoyed collecting things and helping people. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald. Dale is survived by two daughters: Regina Baruth and husband Weston of Tarkio, MO; and Cherie Wilford and husband Eric of Lincoln, NE; three sons: Robbie and wife Dana of Seward, NE; Randy and wife Colleen of Bowling Green, KY; and Dale Edward Jr. of Lincoln, NE; six grandchildren; sisters: Dianna Allensworth of Oakland, IA; and Darlene Roeder and husband Robert of Henderson, IA; 20 nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
