Darrell LeRoy Haley, the son of George and June (Stettler) Haley was born March 4, 1942, in Benton, Iowa. He passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the Garden View Care Center, Shenandoah, Iowa, at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 25 days.

Darrell was raised and attended school in Villisca, Iowa. He made his home in Colorado for 25 years where he worked as a well driller. Darrell returned to Iowa and for 24 years, was a resident of the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center in Red Oak. He most recently was a resident of Garden View Care Center in Shenandaoh, Iowa. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Charles and Dennis.

Darrell is survived by his brother, Tom Haley and his wife, Patricia of Carroll, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
