David Nevin Bushey, the son of George M. and Marian J. Meer Bushey was born March 6, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. He died suddenly on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 10 days. David was raised and graduated from high school in Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Orlando, Florida in l972. He was a professional firefighter and owned a record store in Orlando. David was united in marriage to Dawn Merritt on August 14, 1984 in Orlando, Florida. David and Dawn moved to Minnesota in 1987 and then to Red Oak, Iowa in March of 2010. David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, George. David is survived by his wife, Dawn Bushey of Red Oak, IA; children: Brandi Bushey of Orlando, FL; David Bushey II and wife Shyann of Red Oak, IA; Tiffany Bushey of Red Oak, IA and Timothy Bushey of Red Oak, IA; 5 grandchildren; and brother: Richard Bushey and wife Mary of Florida.
