Deborah Lynn Woods, the daughter of Kyle Val Jean and Sharon L. (Campbell) Branan was born November 10, 1954 at Corning, Iowa. She passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 60 years and 4 months. Deb was raised in southwest Iowa, graduating from Nishna Valley High School in 1973. She was united in marriage Greg Woods on June 28, 1979 at Farmington, New Mexico. Deb and Greg then moved to an acreage west of Stanton. She worked many years at the Rainbow Café, Na-Churs Plant Food, Traco and Red Oak Greenhouse. Deb was an avid auto racing fan, dirt track and NASCAR, attending races at Adams County Speedway and many different tracks all over the United States. She was also a true Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Deb enjoyed spending time with her sons and family. Deb was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gregory Dean Branan and father-in-law, Glendon Woods. Deb is survived by her husband, Greg Woods of rural Stanton, IA; sons: Ryan and Chris Woods of Shenandoah, IA; grandson, Abel; sister, Cheryl Blazek of Creston, IA; brothers: Tim (Fran) Branan of Walnut, IA; and Steve Branan of Omaha, NE; mother-in-law, Awanda Woods of Red Oak, IA; aunt, Shirley Frus of Des Moines, IA; uncle, Butch (Dorothy) Campbell of Kansas City, MO; and special friend, Sis Jones (Jeff) Bogenreif; nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
