Donald George Rensch, Sr., the son of Donald M. and Georgia (Brown) Rensch was born March 20, 1950 at Cooper, Iowa. He passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 14 days. At the age of 4, Donald along with his family moved to Red Oak where he graduated from Red Oak High School. Donald was united in marriage to Kathryn Lewis and to this union two sons were born, Donny and Todd. Donald worked many years for Murphy Calendar Company and then for Traco Window Company. He enjoyed hunting, and working on and racing dirt track cars. Don loved spending time with his children and family. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald M. Rensch and twin infant sons. Donald is survived by two sons: Donny Rensch and Todd Rensch both of Red Oak, IA; grandson, Todd Rensch II; mother, Georgia Rensch of Red Oak, IA; brother, Daniel Rensch and wife MaryAnn of State Center, IA; and sister, Pam Nelson and husband Rod of Red Oak, IA; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. May God bless his memory and give strength to those who mourn. Private family burial will be held at a later date at the Hillside Cemetery, Elliott, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
