Doris Jean Shaver, the daughter of Raymond and Cleo (Berry) Briggs was born October 31, 1930 at Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 17 days.

Doris has lived her entire life in Red Oak, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Gean Lawson on July 6, 1946 in Red Oak, Iowa and later to Robert Shaver on July 3, 1948 at Maryville, Missouri. Doris had worked at Uniroyal and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and V.F.W.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Doris is survived by daughter, Jeanne (Gary) Smith of Council Bluffs, IA; 5 grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

At Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, Iowa.
