Doyle Richard Day, the son of Vernon and Opal Day was born March 20, 1951 at Diagonal, Iowa. He passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 13 days.

Doyle graduated from Bedford High School in 1969. He moved to Omaha, Nebraska and worked for American Hydraulics. In 2010, he transferred to the Red Oak American Hydraulics Company and also made Red Oak his home. Doyle was a people person and enjoyed socializing with everyone he was around. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Doyle is survived by two daughters: Cheri Day of Winterset, IA, and Julie Bernard of Des Moines, IA; brother, Dean (Julia) Day of Davenport, IA; and sister, Carol (Ernie) Smith of Gravity, IA; other relatives and friends.
