Obituary

Dylan Michael Brown was born March 19, 1995 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital, Council Bluffs, Iowa to Marsha Terry of Red Oak, Iowa and Travis Brown of Emmetsburg, Iowa. He passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2015 in Mason City, Iowa at the age of 20 years, 7 months and 7 days. Dylan lived in Red Oak most of his life and spent time with his father in Emmetsburg. He graduated from Red Oak Community High School in 2013. Dylan enjoyed a full life of hunting, fishing, playing baseball, pool, bowling and cooking. He was a music lover and an avid Guitar Hero Rock Star. Dylan was a fan of the KC Chiefs and Denver Broncos and he enjoyed all these passions and interests with his family. Dylan was a quiet free spirit that touched many lives. He was a generous and kind soul. Dylan was known to many for his fun loving and caring attitude about life. He loved his siblings and was very supportive of them all. "Still waters run deep." Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Terry Brown. Dylan leaves behind his parents: Marsha Terry and Travis Brown; step parents: Fawn Brown and Mark Berggren; half siblings: Jacob Berggren, Micayla, Shaylee, Cade and Nora Brown; grandparents: Jeanette Brown, Lyle and Patty Terry, Velma and Marlin Smith, David and Connie Berggren; aunts and uncles, other relatives and many friends. May God bless his memory and give strength to those who mourn. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home, Red Oak Rev. Caryn Pedersen, Officiating Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to the family.
