Franklin Otto Elliott, the son of Alfred W. and Josephine Anderson Elliott was born February 26, 1934 in Essex, Iowa. He died suddenly on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 76 years and 7 months. Frank was raised in the Essex area. He was an over the road truck driver for Brown Transfer. Frank moved to Red Oak in l953, later driving for Kinnison Truck Lines of Red Oak. Frank was united in marriage to Sandra Abraham on January 24, 1975 in Maryville, Missouri. Frank then worked at Star Agri in Red Oak and later for the Red Oak School District. For a time, Frank made Amarillo, Texas his home. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Frank was preceded in death by his parents: four sisters: Betty Allshouse, Martha Josephson, Eldora Hicks and Ruth Cox; and four brothers: Earl, Lawrence, Floyd and Tom. Frank is survived by his wife: Sandra Elliott of Red Oak, IA; children: Bill Elliott and special friend Julie of Red Oak, IA; Dennis Elliott of MN; Colleen Dennis and husband Jim of Council Bluffs, IA; Sherri Clark and husband Travis of Red Oak, IA; Bill Abraham of Yankton, SD; Robert Abraham and wife Claudette of Shenandoah, IA; Deb Abraham of Red Oak, IA; Alicia Abraham and friend Kevin of Red Oak, IA; Mary Adams of Atlantic, IA; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Geraldine Foreman of Red Oak, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
