George Andrew Menzies, the son of Andrew and Florence (Saner) Menzies was born December 6, 1940 in Boone, Iowa. He passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 27 days.

George spent many years in Glenwood, Iowa. He came to Red Oak in 2008, where he made his home in the Nishna Productions resident group homes. He was a very loving person, who enjoyed people. George was a fan of John Wayne and loved his movies, books, and even his clothing. He also loved to watch King Kong movies. George was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth Almond.

George is survived by his sister, Cherie Cotsifas of Pleasant Hill, California; brother-in-law, Marvin Almond of Red Oak, Iowa; nieces, nephews, cousins and all his Nishna Productions family.
