Geraldene M. Scott, 67, Stanton, Iowa Geraldene May Scott, the daughter of Arthur L. and Virgia Begnoche Demanett was born January 30, 1943 in Clarinda, Iowa. She passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 29 days. Geraldene was raised in the Clarinda, Iowa area. She was united in marriage to Richard Scott on May 1, 1960 in Clarinda, Iowa. Geraldene dedicated her life to creating a loving and happy home for her husband and five children. She was employed with Eveready Battery Company. Geraldene enjoyed baking, sewing and arts & crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Geraldene was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister: Imogene and sister: Marlene Lewellen. Geraldene is survived by her husband: Richard Scott of Stanton, IA; children: Cynthia Louise Shough and husband Michael of Labelle, FL; Kenneth Allen Scott and wife Kim of Maryville, MO; Denise Lynn Johnson and husband Kevin of Shambaugh, IA; Christopher Burton Scott of Council Bluffs, IA; and Kimberly Kay Keoppel and husband Travis of Clarinda, IA; grandchildren: Neil Rusty Shough, Miranda Marie Shough, Christopher Burton Scott, Jr., Daniel James Scott, Brandon Michael Scott, Amber Lynnette Sharp, Valarie Ann Sharp, Kylee Marie Thomas, Jordan Johnson, Caleb Johnson; great-grandchildren: Emory Clifford Shough, Carter Michael Shough, Olivia Ann Shough, Abigail Scott and Zachary Andrew Welch; expected great-granddaughter: Autumn Gray; brothers: Arthur D. Demanett, Cleo D. Demanett and wife Diane, Larry L. Demanett and wife Gladys, and Raymond R. Demanett and wife Jeanette; sister: Shirley Stanley and husband Richard. Memorial visitation with the family present will be Tuesday starting at 5:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life service to start at 7:00 P.M. at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home Rev.
