Golda May Carpenter, the daughter of Glenn and Edna (Hilse) Randolph was born December 20, 1932 at Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her daughter's home in Winchester, Oregon at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 9 days.

Golda was raised in Iowa. She was united in marriage to Earl "Gene" Carpenter on October 16, 1948 at Red Oak, Iowa. They lived in Oregon and many years in California where they raised their children. Golda taught her children that family is #1. After retirement they moved to Creston, Iowa. Golda loved all the time spent with family and telling stories, along with being an amazing cook. She was a past member of the Salvation Army Church.

Golda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene on June 9, 2008; brother, Lowell Randolph; brothers-in-law: Howard Carpenter and Dewey Carpenter; sisters-in-law: Lois Grasty, Bonnie Taber, Joan Coy, Wanda Binns and Charlotte Rush.

Golda is survived by her three children: Linda (Steve) Bergadine of Winchester, OR, Steven (Janelle) Carpenter of Suntan Valley AZ and Diane (Mike) Lauffer of Orient, IA; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Joe) Anniss of Algona, IA; brother-in-law, Bernard (Jerrie) Binns of Red Oak, IA; sisters-in-law, Donna (Bill) Novak of Mead, NE, Karen Carpenter of Independence, MO and Darlene Carpenter of Red Oak, IA; other relatives and friends.
