Harold Don Leeper, the son of Grady and Mildred (McDonald) Leeper was born January 21, 1948 at Lane, Oklahoma. He passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Red Oak Healthcare Community, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 21 days. Harold was raised and attended school in the Lane, Oklahoma area. He was a construction worker most of his life. He moved to Red Oak in 1980 to be closer to his mother, sister and brothers and continued to work in construction for a company in Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Leeper and Mildred Roof; and sisters, Joyce Smith and Donna Rodriguez. Harold is survived by his brothers: Billy Leeper of Red Oak, Iowa and Charles Roof of Red Oak, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Red Oak Healthcare Community, Red Oak, Iowa Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date in Oklahoma. Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
