Hytha Ellen Kinnersley, the daughter of Clifford and Lorene (Stokesbary) Kelley was born October 15, 1926 at Villisca, Iowa. She passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 93 years and 25 days.

Hytha was raised and attended school in Villisca, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Gerald A. Kinnersley on January 24, 1942 at Maryville, Missouri. They lived in Texas while Gerald was in the Army Air Force. Following Gerald's honorable discharge, they made their home in Red Oak in 1945, having lived here since. Hytha enjoyed walking, reading, word search puzzles and attending stockcar races. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and being around children. Hytha attended the Church of the Nazarene in Red Oak.

Hytha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald on April 22, 1982; 2 sons: Maynard and David; daughter, Barbara Duckett; 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Hytha is survived by 5 children: Martha Behrens of Red Oak, IA; Joyce Clark of Wilton, IA; Gerald (Janice) Kinnersley of Omaha, NE; Carrie (Rick) Weston of Red Oak, IA; and Danny Kinnersley of Red Oak, Iowa; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held
Friday, November 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
At Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home, Red Oak.

Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial is being established in Hytha's name.
