November 11, 1940 – January 26, 2024
Irvin Dale Lasley, the son of Dale and Velma Lasley was born November 11, 1940 at Sheridan, Missouri. He passed away on January 26, 2024 at his home in Kingman, Arizona with his family by his side at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 15 days.
Irvin lived and attended school in Red Oak. He played Quarterback for the Red Oak Tigers. While also in high school he took dance lessons every Wednesday night and won competitions doing the Jitterbug. Irvin then attended college and played quarterback for the Devil Dogs. He got injured while playing football and joined the United States Marine Corps on June 25, 1959. He was stationed at Subi Bay and was honorably discharged on August 6, 1963. He loved cars, sculpting, painting, drawing, making birthday cards for his family and the local nursing homes in Red Oak. Irvin loved being a Marine.
Irvin was preceded in death by his parents: Dale and Velma Lasley; wife, Sharon Lasley; sister, Dola Simmons and her husband Bural; brother, Jerry Lasley; daughter, Sheila Web and nephews: Roger and Robi Simons.
Irvin is survived by his son, Tony (Lori) Lasley of Richmond, VA; daughters: Teressa (Tom) Dickison of Kingman, AZ and Jody (Donald) Cogburn of Honersville, MO; step-daughter, Becky Ceranek of Red Oak, IA; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.

Inurnment with Military rites will be at the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, MO, at 1:00 p.m.
