James Donald Uhlmann, the son of Donald and Edith (Titus) Uhlmann was born January 15, 1954 in Greenfield, Iowa. He passed away suddenly on May 23, 2016 at his home in Red Oak at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 8 days.

James was raised in the Hopkins, Missouri area and graduated from Hopkins High School. In his younger years, he enjoyed being part of a rodeo. James moved to Red Oak in the early 1990's. He did carpenter work and was a welder for many years at Feather Lite in Shenandoah, Iowa. James loved riding his vintage Harley Davidson motorcycle, as he was always a biker at heart.

James is survived by sons: James Uhlmann Jr and wife Angela, Joe Uhlmann and Jesse Uhlmann, seven grandchildren, and sister, Linda Krider and husband Paul, other relatives and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Gathering with family and friends on Saturday, May 28 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Eagles Lodge, 200 E Washington, Red Oak.
