Jerry Marvin Schlicht, the son of Marvin and Dorothea (Timm) Schlicht was born October 14, 1948 at Hamburg, Iowa. He passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 16 days.

Jerry was raised and attended school at Walnut, Iowa. He worked a while in Oakland at the beef packing plant, He moved to Red Oak in his early 20's, working at Wilson Lumber Company. Jerry later helped his sister and brother-in-law farm near Stanton. For the past 20 years, Jerry had lived in Elliott, Iowa while working for the grain elevator. All his life he has worked hard and enjoyed fun with friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Arletta Jean Larson.

Jerry is survived by two sisters: Janice Montony of Roseville, CA and Judy Schlicht of Des Moines, IA; nieces and nephews; significant other, Patty Long of Red Oak, Iowa; other relatives and friends.

Jerry's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
