Jesse Randolph Dunn, 64, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Red Oak. He was born on December 19, 1960, in Red Oak, the son of  Virgil and Patty (Sutter) Dunn.

Jesse grew up in Red Oak and graduated with the Class of 1979. He worked as both a chef and in construction before beginning a 35-year career in 1989, as a long-haul truck driver. Over the years, he delivered freight across much of the United States, taking great pride in his work ethic and dedication. Beyond his career, Jesse enjoyed the open road on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and especially loved visiting Montana.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Deborah (Dunn) Leonard; and brother, Ronnie Dunn.

Jesse is survived by nieces: Tricia Valdez of Odgen, UT, and Elva Anderson of Helena, MT; nephews: Daniel Leonard of Corvallis, MT, Brian Leonard of Helena, MT, Albert Leonard of Columbus, MT, and Ethan Dunn Geehan of Billings, MT; along with other relatives and friends.

A private burial took place in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, Iowa.
