Obituary

Jim Sell, the son of Russell N. and Vivian L. (Davis) Sell was born June 1, 1940 at Nebraska City, Nebraska. He passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his home in Verona, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 29 days.

Jim was raised near Percival, Iowa, until the age of five, when the family moved to Coin, Iowa. Five years later, the family moved to a farm near Bethesda, Iowa. Jim married and he and his wife were blessed with three children. Jim worked for an implement dealer, before moving to Malvern to work on a dairy farm. He later became a farmhand for a farmer near Lee's Summit, Missouri. In the early 1980's, Jim moved to Republic, Missouri. Jim made Red Oak his home in the late 1980's and opened the, This & That Store, which he owned and operated for 20 years. While in Red Oak, Jim also helped many people with moving services, including Rubey Auction. In 2010, he moved to the Verona, Missouri area where he was a driver for the Amish people.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim is survived by his three children: Rick Sell of Salmon, WA; Pam Loring and husband David of Montrose, VA; and Sheri Sell of Cameron, MO; three brothers: Steven Sell and wife Paula of Eureka Springs, AR; Michael Sell and wife Karen of Bella Vista, AR; and Patrick Sell and wife Dorene of Story City, IA; other relatives and friends.

Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
