Jimmy Clyde Lewis, the son of Clyde and Irene (Anderson) Lewis, was born January 11, 1944, in Red Oak, Iowa. He died on Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 16 days.
Jim was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, until the age of twelve, when the family moved to Red Oak. He graduated from Red Oak High School in 1962, and on January 29, 1964, Jim entered the U. S. Navy. He served during Vietnam and was honorably discharged on October 31, l967, in California. Jim continued to make California his home over the next 30 years, where he was a sales representative for a produce company, selling to restaurants. In 1995, Jim moved to Red Oak, and on May 23, 1998, was united in marriage to Donna Berlin in Red Oak. He enjoyed roller skating, dancing, and playing cards. Jim was always seen wearing a baseball cap, and loved cheering on his San Francisco 49ers. Later in life, he enjoyed watching TV. With Jim serving in the Navy and his wife Donna serving in the Army, each year the Army-Navy football game was a special game to them. Jim was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and past member of the Red Oak Eagles Club.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, DeAnna Lewis.
Jim is survived by his wife, Donna Lewis of Red Oak, IA; son, Todd (Nicole) Lewis, stepsons: Robert (Radee) Bishop and Randy (Tracee) Bishop; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and twin brother, Jerry (Diane) Lewis; other relatives and friends.

Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at
Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home, Red Oak, Iowa
Burial in Mt Hope Cemetery at Nyman with military rites.
Open Viewing on Monday, March 3, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at
Sellergren-Lindell -DeMarce Funeral Home.
Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
