Kathaleen Joanne Davis, the daughter of Albert and Shirley (Griffin) Riepe was born March 7, 1941 at Lewis, Iowa. She passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 14 days.
Kathaleen was raised on a farm located between Griswold and Carson, Iowa. She graduated from Griswold High School in 1958. Kathaleen furthered her education and graduated from Nebraska Christian College and University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a teaching degree and taught speech for several years. Kathaleen moved to Red Oak in the 1980's and worked for Thos D. Murphy Calendar Company. She then began her 25-year career with Red Oak Good Samaritan Society working in the dietary department, from which she retired. Kathaleen was a member of the Nishna Church of Christ in Red Oak and attended Southwest Iowa Community Bible Study, Red Oak for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosemary Rosenthal and grandson, Devin Davis.
Kathaleen is survived by three children: Lavaaron (Patti) Davis of Omaha, NE, Lavonne Squires of Villisca, IA and Lorin Davis of Red Oak, IA; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 24 at 12:00 noon

at Wheeler Grove Cemetery, rural Carson, Iowa.

Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery for the service.

There will be no viewing or visitation.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
