Larry Joe Dahl, the son of Holger and Gudrun (Winther) Dahl was born September 8, 1948 at Villisca, Iowa. He passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Red Oak Healthcare Community, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 29 days.
Larry was raised on a farm outside of Elliott, Iowa. He helped his father with the farm work until 1972, when the family made their home in Red Oak. Larry attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in Red Oak. He became a resident of Red Oak Healthcare Community in October of 2002.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Maynard Dahl and his wife, Mary Ellen.
Larry is survived by his brother, Dennis "Pete" Dahl and wife, Diana of Lewis, IA; nieces: Angela France of Omaha, NE, Debra Dahl and husband Joe of Griswold, IA; nephew, Montgomery Dahl of Finland; great-nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak
Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

A memorial is being established in Larry's name.
