Linda Jane Cochran, the daughter of Doyle and Ruth (Watts) Tranbarger was born April 10, 1955, at Corning, Iowa. She passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Red Oak Rehab & Care Center, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 68 years, 7 months, and 7 days.

Linda was raised in Corning, Iowa. During her senior year of high school, the family moved to Red Oak, where she graduated from Red Oak High School in l973. Linda was a homemaker and raised her children in Wales, Iowa, before moving back to Red Oak. She enjoyed collecting frogs made from various materials and loved growing her plants, as she had a great green thumb. Linda was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, a true biker at heart.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jake Cochran; son, Shane LaMar and brother, Randy Tranbarger.

Linda is survived by her two children: Jacob Cochran and significant other, Allie Johnson of Omaha, NE and Jessica Greever and significant other, Lucas Farmer of Shenandoah, IA; four grandchildren: Zoe Greever, Olivia Farmer, Trinity LaMar and Lee VanScoy; 3 great-grandchildren: Jordyn Nelson, Jaxton and Jordan VanScoy; and brother, Ronny (Glenda) Tranbarger of Kimberling City, MO; other relatives and friends.
