Margaret Kathryn Long, the daughter of Vernon and Ermabeth (Smoley) Long was born November 29, 1947 at Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on November 19, 2020 at the Primghar Rehab and Care Center, Primghar, Iowa at the age of 72 years, 11 month and 21 days.

Margaret was raised in Red Oak and graduated with the class of 1967 Red Oak High School. She as a member of the First United Methodist Church, Past member of Order of Eastern Star Oak Chapter and Order of Rainbow Girls. Margaret served on the Rainbow advisory board.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.

Margaret is survived by her brother, Wayne Long of Overland Park, Kansas.

A private burial will take place in the Grant Cemetery, Grant, Iowa.
