Mary Louise Dinville, the daughter of Frank and Ruth Archer Saner was born May 12, 1915 in Imogene, Iowa. She passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 96 years, 10 months and 24 days. Mary was raised in the Imogene area. She moved to Red Oak with her parents and graduated from Red Oak High School. Mary was united in marriage to Julius J. Dinville on June 26, 1935 in Red Oak, Iowa. They made their home on a farm near Red Oak from 1943 until 1966 when they moved into Red Oak. Mary went to work for Union Carbide Battery Company in l956, retiring in 1980 after 24 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Red Oak. Mary enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard, gardening and traveling. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julius on March 20, 1995; eight siblings: Archie, Florence, Kate, Winnie, Teresa, Carolyn, Dorothy and Donald. Mary is survived by four sons: Gerald L. Dinville and wife Pat of Council Bluffs, IA; Martin F. Dinville and wife Judy of Sun City West, AZ; Duane E. Dinville and wife Janet of Stanton, IA; and Marvin D. Dinville and wife Karen of Clear Lake, MN; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren; brothers: Mike Saner of San Francisco, CA and Terry Saner of Red Oak, IA; many nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 9, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Red Oak Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak Father Tom Kunnel, Officiating Open viewing at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 8, 2012 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with family visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorials to St. Mary's Catholic Church Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
