Michael David Eagan, the son of Phillip and Helen (Rutherford) Eagan was born March 9, 1953 at Creston, Iowa. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 64 years, 11 months and 13 days.
Mike was raised in Creston and graduated from Creston High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps, and was honorably discharged after four years of service. Mike moved to Red Oak in 1974 and worked many years for Larson Plumbing and Heating. He then ran his own plumbing business, and for the past 10 years worked as a sales associate at Mark Jackson's Hardware Hank. Mike was a gentle spirit and a man of few words, yet enjoyed assisting customers at the store. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Eagan and brother-in-law, Roger Caudle.
Mike is survived by his brothers and sisters and their families: Steve Eagan of Creston, IA, Barb Caudle of Macksburg, IA, Phyllis (John) Dierking of Brock, NE, Tom (Kathy) Eagan of Cromwell, IA, Becky Eagan of Gladstone, MO, Dan (Kathy) Eagan of Omaha, NE and Joan Eagan of Omaha, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Gathering and Luncheon with the family of Mike Eagan w ill be held

From 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

Memorials to the Mike Eagan Tech Scholarship is being established for students wanting to attend a Tech School. Memorials can be left at the Eagles Lodge or Mark Jackson's Hardware Hank.
