Myrna Penry Lombard, the daughter of Chester and Gladys (Newberg) Govig was born August 8, 1944 at Villisca, Iowa. She passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 2 days.
Myrna was raised and attended school in Villisca, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Francis E. Penry on June 3, 1960 in Red Oak, Iowa. They lived in Red Oak before moving to the Nyman area in 1968. Myrna and Francis moved back to Red Oak in the early 1980's. She worked several years as a CNA at Red Oak Good Samaritan Society and later with Nishna Productions. On October 15, 1994, Myrna married Robert A. Lombard in Red Oak. Myrna sold Avon, loved to play BINGO and garden. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Red Oak.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Francis Penry on August 17, 1994 and Robert Lombard on July 19, 2012; two sons: Eldon and Darwin; son-in-law, Dale Graham; two brothers: Ed and Ron Govig and sister, Joyce Govig.
Myrna is survived by two daughters: Carolyn (George) Lombard of Red Oak, IA and Cherie Graham of Council Bluffs, IA; 2 grandchildren: Christopher Lombard and Heather (John) Lyons; great-grandson, Cody Lyons; brother, Merlin (Kay) Govig of Grimes, IA; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Cemetery, rural Villisca, Iowa. Livestream will be available on our Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home Facebook page.
Open Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Due to the Governors COVID 19 Proclamation only 15 people will be allowed in the funeral home at any one time. Graveside Service will be limited to 30 people.
Facial coverings will be required and social distancing.
