Neva Lucille Morehouse, the daughter of Robert and Coral (Jackson) Morehouse was born March 30, 1931 at Hopkins, Missouri. She passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 88 years and 23 days.

Neva lived in Hopkins until the age of 6 when the family moved to Guss, Iowa. In October of 1948, Neva was married to Hebert Phillis in Arkansas. They later divorced and in 1971, she and her children moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. Neva later married Dennis Williams. She worked as a draftsman for the City of New Orleans for many years, from which she retired. Neva moved to Stanton in 2000, to be close to her daughter. She enjoyed gardening and loved her cats.

Neva was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Herbert and Dennis; daughter, Loretta Theroitt; brother, Dean Morehouse; and sister, Naomi Sellergren.

Neva is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dwight) Vought of Stanton, IA; son, Dennis (Sharon) Phillis of Omaha, NE; 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
