Norman Eugene Hale, the son of Mervin and Dorothy Hale was born May 5, 1963, in Red Oak, Iowa. He passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 28 days.

Norman graduated from Red Oak High School with the class of 1981. He grew up playing sports, hunting and fishing with family and friends. Baseball was the love of his life. That love turned into slow pitch softball, which he played for 25 years. Norman worked for various employers in Red Oak during his working career.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Mervin and Dorothy Hale.

Norman is survived by his two daughters: Jennifer (Daniel) Wright of Red Oak, IA and their three children: Ethan and Anna Wenberg and Macie Wright; and daughter, Mandy Knapp of Red Oak and her three children: Brendan and Marshall Knapp of Corning, IA and Damon Roby of Red Oak, IA; brother, Kevin (Stephanie) Hale of Red Oak, IA; nieces, other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at his brother's home: Kevin Hale, 1210 N 8th Street, Red Oak, Iowa.
