Oscar Orlando Rodriguez Ramos was born in El Salvador on June 28, 1958. He passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa, the age of 62 years, 7 months and 22 days.

Oscar was raised in Santa Ana, El Salvador and moved to the United States in 2006. He lived in Maryland and Virginia before moving to Denison, Iowa in 2008. Oscar was united in marriage to Sharon K. Weller in 2008 in Harlan, Iowa, where they lived. In 2014, they made their home in Red Oak. Oscar was a very caring and giving man, willing to help others. He was preceded in death by his father.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Sharon Ramos of Red Oak, IA; son, Oscar Rodriguez Hernandez; daughter, Karla Ivette Rodriguez Hernandez; stepsons, William and Mark Weller; stepdaughter, Becky Weller; and siblings: Juan Abel Ramos, Carlos Ramos, Carmen Ramos, Melida Maribel Ramos, Sara Alfaro and Jose Santiago Ramos; other relatives and friends.

Visitation and Viewing will be held at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
