Peggy Jean Hall, the daughter of Wilbur and Gladys Monroe King was born March 23, l939 in Riverton, Iowa. She passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 11 days. Peggy graduated from Riverton High School in l957. She was united in marriage to Jack E. Hall in Sidney, Iowa on September 29, 1957 at her sister, Dorothy's home. In 1958, Peggy and Jack moved from Shenandoah to Red Oak. Peggy was a homemaker; she enjoyed cooking and collecting new recipes. Over the years Peggy sold Avon products, too. She loved her family dearly, and always looked forward to big family get togethers. Peggy loved to spoil her grandchildren as they held a special place in her heart. She was an animal lover especially to her cats. Peggy enjoyed county music and was a big Elvis Presley fan. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard King and sister, Dorothy Aspedon. Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jack E. Hall of Red Oak, IA; children: Martin Hall and wife Kathy of Lincoln, NE; and Debbie Lukehart and husband Rick of Red Oak, IA; grandson, Mike Lukehart and companion Crystal of Cedar Falls, IA; granddaughter, Betsy Hall of Omaha, NE; sister, Marcene Welchans of Shenandoah, IA; her faithful cats: Susie and Mickey; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home, Red Oak Burial will be held at the Sidney Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Sidney, Iowa Rev.
