Philip D. Penry, the son of Margaret E. (Hummel) Penry-Wolfe was born September 23, 1962 at Eugene, Oregon. He passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 2 days.
Philip lived the majority of his life in Red Oak, except for 10 years when he lived in Glenwood. He was a fun loving person who knew no strangers. Philip lived at the Nishna Productions Summit Home in Red Oak and worked with Nishna Productions for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, bowling, playing pool and dressing up as Dracula, along with collecting uniforms from many occupations. When out, you would usually see Philip dressed in a suit, with a tie or bow tie and hat. Philip was a person loved by many and he loved them back.
Philip was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret and uncle, Herman Hummel.
Philip is survived by his brother, Paul Penry and wife Cindy of Red Oak, IA; and sisters: Patricia Regan and husband James of Keller, TX and Phyllis Rocha of Ukiah, CA; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
