Ramona Gail Sellers, the daughter of Victor and Myrtle (Penry) Hilliard was born May 16, 1939, in Carson, Iowa. She passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Griswold Care Center, Griswold, Iowa, at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 24 days.

Ramona was raised in Henderson, Iowa. On March 16, 1956, Ramona was united in marriage to Lanny Sellers in Glenwood, Iowa. In l964, they made their home in Snohomish, Washington, until 1993, when they moved to Red Oak, Iowa. Since 2021, they have lived in area care centers. Ramona enjoyed working puzzles, family genealogy, gardening and especially, spending time with family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shenandoah, Iowa.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; son, Curtis Sellers in l995; and three sisters: Geraldine O'Dell, Victoria Hilliard and Verna Evans.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Lanny Sellers of Griswold, IA; two sons: David Sellers of San Diego, CA and Stuart Sellers of Marysville, WA; three grandchildren: Audrey Sellers, Julian Sellers and Mariah Sellers; two great-grandchildren: Jason and Jensen; and brothers; Larry Hilliard of Griswold, IA and Kent Hilliard of Topeka, KS; other relatives and friends.
