Rebecca Lee Whited, the daughter of Marvin and Agnes (Rhamy) Graham, was born on November 22, 1954, in Corning, Iowa. She passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic, Iowa, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 23 days.
Rebecca lived in the communities of Red Oak and Clarinda, before the family moved to Villisca, where she attended high school. In l989, Rebecca moved to Red Oak and dedicated herself to caring for others as a CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked at Vista Gardens Care Center, and for over 20 years at Good Samaritan Society, both located in Red Oak. Rebecca enjoyed crafting and creating handmade items to share with family and friends. Most of all, Rebecca cherished spending time with her grandchildren, she always made them a priority in her life.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shannon Robinson; 2 sisters: Vicky Cozad and Merlyn Hale; and 6 brothers: Marvin Graham, Floyd Graham, Terry Graham, David Graham, Dale Graham and Jerry Graham.
Rebecca is survived by her son, David (Angie) Squires of Griswold, IA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Evalena (Stan) Gregory of Fort Madison, IA; other relatives and friends.
May God bless her memory and give strength to those who mourn.
