Richard Adam Stogdill, the son of Larry and Kris Ross Stogdill was born June 19, l984 in Iowa City, Iowa. He died suddenly on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Methodist Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 26 years, 10 months and 4 days. Rich was raised in Shenandoah, Iowa moving to Red Oak in l996. He graduated from Red Oak High School with the class of 2003. Rich enjoyed fixing electronic items and watching science fiction shows. He collected over 2000 Yugioh cards and was a fan of Stargate SG1. Rich attended Nishna Church of Christ in Red Oak. Rich was preceded by his father. Rich is survived by his mother, Kris Stogdill of Red Oak, IA; sister, Annetta Magaret and husband Gunner of Red Oak, IA; grandparents, Marion and Esther Ross of Stanton, IA; nephew, Damian and step-niece, Brittany; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rich was cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home assisting the family with arrangements.
