Bob was also a creative writer who enjoyed sharing his life stories and uplifting sermons with others. In recent years, he authored many encouraging and humorous anecdotes which were displayed by local businesses and area nursing homes. One of Bob's greatest joys was sharing the love of God with others. He did so through a long-time children's ministry with his wife Iva, which included puppets, clowns and involvement with the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. People were drawn to Bob. He was a great listener, friend, and mentor to many. Bob was a light-hearted prankster, was always smiling, and always wanted to make people happy.
