Robin Lee Allen, the son of Donald and Joan Eubanks Allen, was born October 31, 1952 in Red Oak, Iowa. He passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident at the Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 9 months and 26 days. Robin grew up in Red Oak, graduating from Red Oak High School in l970. He attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Robin was united in marriage to Regina Bullington on June 5, 1971 and to this union three daughters were born: Roni, Dawn and Gina. For 14 years, Robin worked for Burlington Northern Railroad. He returned to Northwest Missouri State University earning his Bachelor's degree in Education. Robin was a teacher and coached track, basketball and football at Essex, IA. He then taught Industrial Arts at LaPlata, MO, where he coached baseball and track, taking them to state each year he was there. Robin returned to Red Oak in 2002 and began working for the Red Oak School System in the transportation department. He felt his mission field was with the youth of Red Oak. On October 8, 2005 Robin was united in marriage to Vicky Coutier in Red Oak. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, playing softball, riding his motorcycle and cars. Robin was a big NASCAR fan. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt and he treasured his collection of NASCAR memorabilia. He was a member of Faith Community Church in Red Oak. Robin cherished his girls and grandchildren and loved to visit them. Robin was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Allen and baby brother, Ryan Lynn Allen. Robin is survived by his wife, Vicky Allen of Red Oak, IA; three daughters: Roni Pinkerton and husband Tim of Bellevue, NE; Dawn Klamert and husband Chris of Joliet, MT; and Gina Spencer and husband Ron of Bellevue, NE; 10 grandchildren: Dalton, Rylie, Jayden, Madison, Keeley and Piper Pinkerton; Shaina Klamert; Bailee, Gavin and Delainey Spencer; father, Donald Allen of Red Oak, IA; brothers: Roxie Allen and wife Aimee of Red Oak, IA; and Richard Allen and wife Iona of Corning, IA; niece and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
