Obituary

Roger Neal Randall, Sr., the son of Neal and Velma (Gibbison) Randall was born March 30, 1953 at Pekin, Illinois. He passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 10 days.

Roger was raised in Pekin and in 1972, graduated from Olympia High School, of which Pekin community was a part of. He was united in marriage to Doris Merritt and later to Melissa Chambers. Roger lived in California before making Red Oak, Iowa, his home. He had worked for Pamida, Red Oak Greenhouses and D&L. Roger was also a fine carpenter and helped in building the homes on Sunnyslope Drive. For the past number of years, he was the friendly face working at the car wash, Red Oak Super Suds on Highway 34. Roger was a member of the First Baptist Church, now The Bridge, where he dedicated many hours in all their construction projects.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ray Randall.

Roger is survived by two sons: Roger (Melissa) Randall, Jr. of Garner, IA and Ryan Randall of Red Oak, IA; two daughters: Wendy Randall of Red Oak, IA and Rosie Randall of Red Oak, IA; 9 grandchildren: Miranda Randall, McKayla Randall, Adilynn Randall, Dakota Randall, Octavian Ward, Nehemiah Ward, Amelia Smith, Lilikoi Smith and Kiziaha Smith; other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held

at The Bridge, 601 N 3rd St., Red Oak, IA

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
