Rosemary Elaine Sparr, the daughter of James and Edna Boyce Lombard was born October 3, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska. She died on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 17 days. The first thirteen years of Rosemary?s life was spent living in Omaha with her family. In 1960, at the age of 14, the family moved to Stanton, Iowa. On August 14, 1965, Rosemary was united in marriage to James L. Sparr Sr. in Red Oak, Iowa. Throughout their marriage, James and Rosemary made their home in Oakland, IA; Council Bluffs, IA; Coburg, IA and in 1991, they settled on a farm north of Elliott, IA. Rosemary was a member of Grant United Methodist Church of Grant, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Patricia Lombard and 3 brothers: James, Lawrence and Joseph Lombard. Rosemary is survived by husband: James Sparr Sr. of rural Elliott, IA; daughter: Brenda Sparr of Kapaa, HI; sons: Tim Sparr and wife Diane of St. Joseph, MO; James Sparr Jr. of Odessa, TX; brothers: Robert Lombard and wife Myrna of Red Oak, IA; Charles Lombard and wife Linda of Red Oak, IA; George Lombard and wife Carolyn of Red Oak, IA; and William Lombard and wife Bonnie of Omaha, NE; step-brothers: Rick Lukehart and wife Debby of Red Oak, IA; and Jerry Lukehart and wife Chic of Bellevue, NE; sisters: Carole McMullen and husband Frank of Messena, IA and Nancy Swentor and husband Robert of Council Bluffs, IA May God bless her memory and give strength to those who mourn.
