Shirlee E. Frazey, the daughter of Charles P. and Amelia (Burgeson) Stanton was born May 30, 1924 at Monroe, Washington. She passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 with her family by her side at the Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio at the age of 90 years, 4 months and 15 days. Shirlee was united in marriage on November 14, 1947 to William Frazey, a former coach and teacher at Red Oak High School who also worked at Union Carbide. While in Red Oak, Shirlee worked many years at Federal Land Bank Association and later transitioned to Real Estate. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and P.E.O. She continued her active lifestyle in Hudson, OH and made many new friends. Shirlee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William on February 18, 1991. Shirlee is survived by three daughters and husbands: Diana and Thomas Crawford of Burlingame California; Barbara and Ware Grove of Hudson, Ohio; and Judith and David Wilson of Urbandale, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held in Hudson, Ohio on October 20, 2014. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, Iowa Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak. Memorials may be directed to P.E.O. Projects. Friends who wish to attend should meet at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for procession to the cemetery or just meet the family at the cemetery.
