Stanley Elvin Bullington, the son of Elvin and Vera (Sowers) Bullington, was born June 18, 1944 in Montgomery County, Iowa. He passed away suddenly on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 11 days.

Stanley was raised in the Coburg and Emerson, Iowa areas. He graduated from Red Oak High School and attended one year of college. Stanley returned home to begin farming and made that his career for many years. He also enjoyed mechanical work. Stanley loved to bake and won many ribbons for his efforts. He enjoyed gardening and was great at developing hybrids with his tomatoes. Stanley liked people and was always willing to lend others a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Larry.

Stanley is survived by daughter, Robin (Louis) Guarnieri of Norwalk, CT; sons: Bryan Bullington of Red Oak, IA and Shane Bullington of Puyallup, WA; 4 grandchildren; brother, Lanny (Ramona) Sellers of Red Oak, IA; sisters: Deanna Tighe of Boulder, CO, Linda (Jack) Battaglia of Montrose, CO and Nancy (Chuck) Porter of Omaha, NE; other relatives and friends.

Stanley's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
