Obituary

Theresa Louise Limbrick, the daughter of John and Mary Geraldine (Bruce) Hartman was born June 27, 1946, in Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 76 years and 25 days.

Theresa was raised in Red Oak, and in 1964, graduated from Red Oak High School. She entered the U. S. Air Force on September 8, 1964. Theresa was united in marriage to Brian Limbrick on February 15, 1966, in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was honorably discharged on February 6, 1967, and moved to Portland, Oregon. Theresa moved back to Red Oak in 1974, where she worked at Eveready Battery Company until its closure. Theresa joined the Iowa Army National Guard 1168th Transportation Company in 1974 and served until 1979. She then worked for CDS and Montgomery County Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Theresa enjoyed collecting lead crystal items and shopping. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the American Legion, both in Red Oak. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents.

Theresa is survived by her son, Ron Limbrick and his wife, Renae of Stanton, Iowa; sister, Susanne Colter of Council Bluffs, IA; and stepbrother, Mike Clark of New Virginia, IA; several cousins and friends.

Burial with military honors at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, Iowa

Visitation with the family on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A memorial is being established in Theresa's name.
